Best Way to Farm Blood in Feed the Beast
Elden Ring has been out for a couple of months now, and while there is plenty to do in New Game Plus, many veterans and newcomers may be looking for something to follow it up with. Many already consider it Game of the Year though, and that, unfortunately, means it's a hard act to follow. Perhaps the best way is to take a stroll through FromSoftware's catalog and visit games like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne , and Sekiro.
For veterans, this could be a walk down memory lane while waiting for Elden Ring DLC. For newcomers, it's a good way to look at how Elden Ring has evolved the formula but to also get acquainted with even more Souls game is a reward in and of itself. Of the aforementioned titles, Bloodborne is perhaps the most popular and could be one of the most approachable games above. It's a good choice to follow Elden Ring.
Of course, if newcomers have learned anything about Elden Ring, it's that leveling and grinding is a viable, helpful option. Players can avoid this, instead relying on sheer skill, but being able to get a ton of Blood Echoes (the equivalent to Elden Ring's runes) easy makes the entire game a little smoother—if even not exactly easy depending on how much someone levels. Luckily, the best Blood Echoes farm in Bloodborne still works, as tested by Game Rant on May 1, 2022.
This Blood Echoes Farm is really easy, allowing players to get roughly 83,000 Blood Echoes every minute or so. In fact, the hardest part of this farm is unlocking it, as players will need to progress through Old Yharnam and reach the Blood-Starved Beast. This means players may encounter the Cleric Beast, will definitely encounter Father Gascoigne, and a few other odds and ends on the way there. To unlock this farm, players must beat the Blood-Starved Beast and acquire the Pthumeru Chalice.
Bloodborne – Blood-Starved Beast Tips and Tricks
The Blood-Starved Beast can be difficult for newcomers. There are a few tricks that will make defeating it easier. If nothing else, players should try summoning another player or a friend of a higher level to help with the fight (although be aware this costs Insight in Bloodborne). Dodging to his left helps the most combat-wise, and otherwise, it can be a straightforward battle of attrition.
Bloodborne players should definitely carry antidotes, as eventually, it'll have spores that constantly poison players. However, if it manages to grab players and bite them, it'll also immediately poison them. Surviving this attack is incredibly difficult. To easily defeat the Blood-Starved Beast, however, players should try the following:
- Gather Pungent Blood Cocktails and throw them into the left corner of the room. The beast will pursue these and eat the blood, giving the player a few seconds to attack.
- The Wolf Beasts outside the Boss Arena can drop Beast Blood Pellets, which can increase damage. It also increases damage taken, so pairing it with the Pungent Blood Cocktails helps a ton.
- To up the damage even more, Fire Paper will help a lot. Using the aforementioned Cocktails, Beast Blood Pellets, and Fire Paper will go a long way in melting the Blood-Starved Beast.
- Players can also summon Bloodborne character Alfred outside the room at the cost of 1 Insight. Alfred isn't the best damage-wise, but he can tank the Blood-Starved Beast pretty well.
Once the Blood-Starved Beast falls, players will be able to approach the altar in the back of the room and claim the Pthumeru Chalice.
Bloodborne – How to Use the Best Blood Echoes Farm
With that, Bloodborne players will want to return to the Hunter's Dream. They'll turn to their immediate left to all the tombstones and approach the second one. When using this alter, players will want to choose to input a glyph and enter "CUMMMFPK." This unlocks the farm.
Once players spawn in, they'll want to barely step outside the nearby doorway. Turning the camera so players can see the left wall will reveal a faraway health bar that is consistently taking damage. If players do not see this, then they traveled too far into the next chamber, which prevents the creature from dying. They'll just need to then wait for this unseen Bloodborne monster to die, and they'll have their 83,000 Blood Echoes. They can then return to the lamp, go back to the Hunter's Dream, and load the dungeon up again to repeat the process.
In roughly ten minutes, they'll earn a million Blood Echoes and can spend that on whatever they want. It should be noted that the required number of Blood Echoes needed to level up goes up quickly, but a million Blood Echoes should get players close to level 85 or so. They can keep running it, of course, as much as they want, and while the game can still present several challenges, it can be an easy way to make Bloodborne's Yharnam a lot easier and even more fun for those who prefer this approach.
Bloodborne is available on PS4.
